Sand Tray Therapy is a largely nonverbal therapeutic intervention that makes use of a sand tray and miniature figures to create scenes of miniature worlds that reflect a person’s inner thoughts, struggles, and concerns. This form of therapy is practiced along with talk therapy but the sand tray and figures are the primary communication tools giving you an indirect way to talk about what’s on your mind. These sessions last between 45-60 minutes.
